Role Overview

Zikrabyte Solutions is looking for a Software Tester with hands-on experience in manual testing and basic automation testing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web, mobile, CRM, and integrated applications by identifying defects and verifying that applications meet business and quality standards. The selected candidate will collaborate with developers, product teams, and business stakeholders throughout the software testing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand business requirements and prepare test plans and test cases.
  • Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and CRM applications.
  • Develop and execute basic automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver or Appium.
  • Conduct API, regression, and system integration testing.
  • Identify, document, track, and manage defects using JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects and verify fixes.
  • Prepare test scenarios, test documentation, and test summary reports.
  • Participate in release readiness activities and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Required Qualifications

  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and defect lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications (Android/iOS).
  • Basic knowledge of automation testing using Selenium WebDriver or Appium.
  • Understanding of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with CRM applications such as Salesforce, Zoho, or custom CRM platforms.
  • Knowledge of complex and integrated system testing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.

    Skills & Tools

    JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar bug-tracking tools.Selenium, Appium, Postman, and JMeter.Basic SQL knowledge for database testing.
